CAPE TOWN TO LONDON

We were asked to prepare a Land Rover 110 for a trip from Cape Town to London. The vehicle was shipped to Cape Town where our customer started the journey of a lifetime through Africa, Europe and then to London. This trip took six months.

The 110 200 TDI hard top was a completely standard vehicle when we started work on it. After we had serviced the vehicle and changed the cam belt we fitted a long range fuel tank, security and load guards, better locks on the doors and a split charge system. We also supplied a hand winch and fitted recovery points. This was modest preparation for a vehicle for this type of preparation.
